Training
At ESS, we believe that security involves identifying and addressing potential areas of risk and concern, preventing such risks from materialising and responding to any problems quickly and effectively when deterrence is unavoidable or ineffective. With this in mind, we value important regular, challenging and role specific training for all our staff.
As such, in addition to all of our staff maintaining their minimum qualifications of Certificate II in Security Operations and in First Aid, many of our team also retain qualifications including Certificate III in Security Operations as well as qualifications in the use of batons and handcuffs, firearms and various defensive tactics. All of these additional skills provide our team with an added advantage while on the job, and result in a better service for our clients.
On top of external industry training, our team receives comprehensive and ongoing internal training, which ensures that our clients only receive personnel of the highest calibre.
Our internal training program consists of various curriculum units, including:
- Basic Training for all new staff members
- Customer Service
- Advanced Training
- Self Defense and defensive tactics
- Baton and handcuffs
- Firearms
All our training programs encompass theoretical, practical & physical components.
